Military Police of the Democratic Republic of the Yoruba (D.R.Y.)

The Military Police (MP) of the Democratic Republic of the Yoruba (D.R.Y.) serves as the law enforcement arm of the armed forces, ensuring discipline, order, and security within military ranks. The MP is responsible for enforcing military laws, conducting investigations, maintaining internal security, and assisting civilian law enforcement when necessary.

The D.R.Y. Military Police would be divided into specialized units:

  1. Law Enforcement & Patrol Unit – Conducts routine policing, enforces regulations, and responds to incidents within military zones.
  2. Criminal Investigation Division (CID) – Investigates military crimes such as theft, fraud, assault, espionage, and corruption.
  3. Military Intelligence & Counterterrorism Unit – Works with intelligence agencies to track and neutralize threats within the armed forces.
  4. Corrections & Detention Unit – Manages military prisons and oversees disciplinary actions for convicted military personnel.
  5. Special Reaction Force (SRF) – A rapid-response unit trained in riot control, hostage rescue, and high-risk operations.
  6. K-9 Unit – Deploys trained dogs for drug detection, search-and-rescue missions, and perimeter security.
  7. Traffic & Convoy Security – Manages military vehicle traffic, ensures safe transport of troops and equipment, and secures military convoys.
