The Evil Legacy of Macaulay’s 1835 Proposal: Exposing the Colonial Agenda and Revealing the Divine Blueprint for the Democratic Republic of the Yoruba

On that day, February 2nd, 1835, one hundred and ninety years ago, you remember what Macaulay said. Today, this group of enemies within, who are against what God has done for I.Y.P of D.R.Y, what they are saying is that they want to continue that oppressive system that Macaulay proposed to the British and which they carried out, and which still continues in the colonial arrangement called Nigeria today.

You remember Macaulay’s proposal was for them (the British) to REPLACE the condition of wealth, riches and so on that he met on the African continent. “Replacement” automatically means that they would bring in things that would not make Africans to be rich, wealthy and great any longer. That’s the automatic meaning, which we know! He said he saw Africans being people of high caliber. People of prestige, people of honour, and with no thieves and no beggars in the African society. To replace that would mean they would reduce the African people to being poor! You can see their plan! But for us, I.Y.P of D.R.Y, God has reclaimed our Nationhood for us. He has reclaimed our Sovereignty. He has reclaimed our Identity for us.

Part of what colonizers use to oppress and take advantage of a people, is Slavery. They also use Poverty, Corruption, Unemployment, Underdevelopment. They are particularly good at using Underdevelopment to oppress the colonised, so that the colonised would see the colonizer’s own country as highly developed. Meanwhile, the fact is that they actually met us on our land and saw us being a Developed People, before they turned us into something else, other than how they met us! It’s very important to them, that they perpetually keep us behind themselves when it comes to development. The meaningless education they gave us in place of our own highly qualitative traditional education which we had before they came, and also the lack of good health care services that they uphold on our land (so that we can keep going to them for our healthcare needs) – thus their own medical and pharmaceutical system would be making money at our own expense and while we get impoverished – all of this and more are the “replacement” they planned! They would bring total hopelessness to the colonized. The worse thing is that they would then manipulate the brain of the people – which is what is called Brainwashing. They know that the brainwashing would be successful because they know they’ve already made you vulnerable through the previously mentioned evils done to you. Poverty – man-made poverty – have made you vulnerable. It is man-made. Because God has so much blessed us in Yorubaland that there shouldn’t be anybody who is hungry or poor! The worst part of the brainwashing is to make you believe that your poverty and backwardness is divine destiny – can you see the blasphemy and the wickedness being spoken by the colonial masters? Meanwhile, they had previously said (through Macaulay) that they met riches and wealth on the African continent and that there were no thieves nor poor people nor beggars! But now they start saying that the poverty in our land is as God planned it! You would then hear that the people should just keep praying! Meanwhile the church building they go to pray in, was once a factory that got closed down! And yet you say you are praying there to have employment?! You can see the brainwashing! Meanwhile, in the countries of the colonial masters themselves, so many of their own church buildings have been converted into night clubs, condo and many more things. They would then deceive the colonised people – our own people [until now that I.Y.P of D.R.Y have regained our Nationhood and Sovereignty] – and the colonised would console themselves by saying “God will help us to overcome.” Even when a bad leader is in government, all they would say is “Let’s be patient, God will choose a good leader for us.” Instead of challenging the bad leader! It’s all an arrangement and it can never produce anything good, since it is not God that put it in place. And where God is not the one at work there can only be trouble and anxiety and problems and every bad thing. God is not the one at work there. It’s not the arrangement of God. God’s own work is the one where the units of sovereignty are separated from one another by their different languages! As well as separated by their different histories, cultures and so on. The separation is so clear without any mix-up. Yet certain people are saying that the colonial arrangement that is deliberately planned to spoil the destiny of the colonised people, is what you want to continue operating! I repeat it: heaven is angry with you, the earth is angry with you, you have perished. You will never again find success in your lives – for the mere fact that you even gathered together to be against what God has done for I.Y.P of D.R.Y, you will surely fall and die! You may think you are still alive, but go and check out yourself… many of you are already dead awaiting burial. Many of you are living a life of sorrow but covering things up!

The churches and mosques are also used by the colonizer. The churches and mosques would preach to divert the people away from the truth of their situation, whereas as a matter of fact what to eat and drink is right beside you! Yoruba Land (D.R.Y) is so blessed that even food wastes carelessly thrown away will germinate and grow! But the people have been brainwashed to the extent that they believe it is fasting that will take them out of poverty and hunger. They lie to the people, telling them one person or another is the source of their poverty and lack of progress; instead of telling them that it is the slave masters, the colonizers, that are the source of the poverty in the land!

The solution is what God has now given to us, I.Y.P of D.R.Y – that we should remove discrimination from D.R.Y, and that we should remove division of class. That we should remove disunity. We are to remove all that God has asked us to remove, in accordance with the Divine BluePrint that he has given to us. But these enemies within do not want that. They want the colonizer’s own arrangement to continue.

After using the so-called “elite” to create their own division of class and to shame those who are not trained in western ways, the colonizers turn around to afflict those same “elites” through the underdevelopment of the society which will then make the elites to seek greener pastures abroad in what has now become the “jápa” syndrome. This is part of the colonial master’s strategy for destroying a people, a nation. They would make sure to create circumstances that would make the most talented of the people to leave their homeland while the oppressor puts in place plans to overwhelm those that remain of the indigenous people until they are completely decimated. They would use things like drugs, alcohol abuse, gambling and cult activities to bring them to their destruction. Once they begin to see the success of these plans of theirs, the colonial masters would then begin to move their own people into that land little by little! And yet the enemies within and the collaborators with the colonial master, they see all these things and keep quiet!

Having made the people poor, the colonial master would then build schools and hospitals that are not affordable for the people of the land – it is all in readiness for the colonizer’s own people who will move in to replace the original indigenous population!

Meanwhile the hospitals that may be affordable for the indigenous population are poorly equipped, leading to deaths of patients brought in, and that, again, is part of the decimation agenda of the colonizer.

This year is the year of jubilation, but for you the wicked people collaborating with the colonial agenda, it shall never be well with you.

Those who call themselves “ọbas”, you need to know the negative plan that the colonizers have for you! but I don’t have time for that. You will face your own trouble for what you are doing – if you don’t bring your evidence to support your claim that MOA removed you from being “ọba,” then you know what crime you have committed.

I say the things I have said so far, so that we would know the very source of the trouble and poverty and underdevelopment that has happened in our land, so that some people wouldn’t come anytime sooner or later to lie to you!

Now, the conditions are such that even the so-called “elite” (who, as a matter of fact, are only just the “middle class,” according to their own definition) have had their supposed privileged position removed by the very poverty that was set in motion by this “replacement” agenda of the colonial master – an agenda that was set into motion one hundred and ninety years ago, to the day, 2nd February 1835, when Macaulay submitted his replacement proposal to the British Parliament.

With the removal of the middle class through the “jápa” syndrome, those left behind are either super rich or super poor and the reports we have show that the distance, the economic distance between the rich and the poor is extremely wide. However, God has now given us in D.R.Y a program that cancels such gap, a program by which everybody is given the opportunity to become as rich and as comfortable as he/she chooses to be, yet some people are saying they don’t want such a prosperous lifestyle for the entire populace.
