The Constitution of the Democratic Republic of the Yoruba

The Indigenous Yoruba People (I.Y.P) of the  Democratic Republic of the Yoruba (D.R.Y)  have the privilege and right to write our own Constitution.

As our Mother,  Íyá-Àafin Modúpê Onítiri-Abiólá , explained to us, the best law for our Nation is the one that we, the Indigenous Yoruba People (I.Y.P ), have written: from our experiences, according to our customs and practices, what is in harmony with our nature, and so on.

Through this system, the D.R.Y National Constitution will be one that is our own, as a true Indigenous Yoruba (I.Y.P).

The time is yet to come when our representatives will sit down to consider all our proposals, to determine which one the Yoruba people collectively approve as law.
